AEO MCP server

AEO ships an authenticated Model Context Protocol server alongside the dashboard. Point an agent at it and it can read your visibility metrics, tracked prompts, cited sources and site audits — scoped to your account.

How it works

The server speaks the standard MCP Streamable HTTP transport and answers every request with JSON. Each request is authenticated by a Bearer API key; the server resolves the key to a user and exposes only that user’s projects. There is no cross-tenant access and no public endpoint.

What you can query

The v1 toolset is read-only and covers projects, competitors, prompts, visibility metrics, cited sources and on-site audits. Write tools (running scans and audits from an agent) are on the roadmap and gated per key.
